Joaquin “Joe” Claussell is best known as a DJ on the NYC DJing scene, though his efforts are also prevalent on many a major artist’s work as remixer or producer. He also produces his own work under a myriad of aliases or groups he works with.
He has been label owner of both Spiritual Life Music and later Sacred Rhythm Music, and continues to release quality, mainly deep house music, via these channels and many others.
He is the brother of percussionist José “Cochise” Claussell.
