Gramaphone Records

Gramaphone Records in Chicago is where a bunch of our interviews like Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Colette and many more used to work. Sometimes together.

This unique record store is a staple in house music history, because that’s where everyone gets the best records.

It should be noted that this is the new location, and the original is a block and half down the street.

After interviewing Migual Migs and King Britt, we modified one of the questions we asked. The question was: what is your favorite record shop? Their reply: what country?

So we went to their favorite London record store…

And met JP. He’s a trip.

I wish we had more time. Pick up some House rarities at: www.vinyl-junkies.com
